HELLO KIWIS!

Providing a welcoming & memorable American experience!

Top 3 Reasons to be a Host!

Cultural Experience

Learn an interesting new vocabulary - English is the main language in both countries, but the slang is very different. When's tea? What are your favorite lollies? Where do you put rubbish?

Instead of just reading about other cultures in school, wouldn't it be more fun to learn about another culture from the perspective of kids your own age?

Fun Adventures

An excuse for your family to share your favorite local activities and everyday life, or maybe finally go enjoy something you haven't done here in the Puget Sound!

Have a friend around to do all your favorite things in the Fall - getting together with US & NZ students together,

Rare Opportunity

Build lifelong friendships. After
spending 2-3 weeks with your Kiwi guest, you will find out new things about yourself and your friend.

While there are other general exchange programs, this is one of the only ones offered here in Tacoma for middle schoolers! Participants remember their experience for years, some using on their resumes for high schools, jobs, etc.
